metabolic switching to overcome burnout

Feeling bored or burnt out on your eating & training styles?

A lot of times, we do the same old thing, over and over and over again… leading to little to no results or excitement on our health and fitness journey.

I’ve been there a few times and I got to the point where if I even smelled chicken, I wanted to puke 🤢

People wonder why, they can’t stick to diets and training long term  and I always tell them, we will all eventually be burnt out, if we don’t switch things up…

As I dove into my journey on gut and hormone health, I learned about metabolic switching and the impact it has on us all.

We all run on 2 energy sources. Ketones and glucose, we should be able to switch relativity easy but most people don’t know when or how to actually switch.

For women, I say go based on your hormonal cycle. Yes, even if you don’t actually bleed your hormones are still surging at certain times of the month…

Men, they can do this morning and night with some pretty good results.

But us, women are different and we have to respect that which is why I say go with your hormonal cycle.

The first half of your cycle, you do well running on ketones because of the presence of estrogen. But the back half of your cycle, you do better running on glucose because of progesterone. – This is a huge reason on why women usually can’t stick to hardcore diets for longer than a few weeks.

It’s not you, it’s your hormones and its ok!

Stop comparing your results to the men in your life. We are wired so differently in so many ways and it is important to honor this in order to have long term success on our journey.

It is time to work with your hormones instead of against them. If this is something you have been struggling with then book your free consultation with me to dive deeper into what you really need.
