Fire up Your Workouts!

Do you feel bored with your workouts? Or just not feeling like you are progressing the way you should?

Fire up your workouts to switch it up and confuse the body! Our body’s will adapt to anything we do, so with training I recommend switching it up every 4-8 weeks! Even if it’s something simple like increasing weight, switching up the order of workouts or adding some plyo into your training! I have found adding plyo will do your body best!

Fire up your workouts…

Superseting with plyo will definitely confuse your body and get your heart rate up quick. For example, do a set of Squats then superset with Jump Squats. Superset meaning do your set of Squats then right after with minimum break do your Jump Squats! I love doing this because you can knock out your workout quick and cut back on basic cardio! Even on upper body days, I’ll do jumping jacks,  in between sets to keep my heart rate up!

Top 10 Plyo Moves to Use…

  1. Jump Squat
  2. Jump Lunge
  3. Wide to Narrow Squat
  4. Jumping Jacks
  5. High Knees
  6. Mountain Climbers
  7. Burpees
  8. Plyo Push Ups
  9. Up Down Plank
  10. Jump Rope

If you have any joint issues, I would recommend doing pulses instead of plyo.  Pulse is when you do small movements of these moves instead of doing explosive jump exercises. When doing plyo aways make sure you form, shoes and landing are on point!
