If you are struggling with ovarian cyst, PCOS or just hormonal imbalance, you will find this blog helpful.

I have been struggling with ovarian cyst since getting off birth control. I was getting a hardcore period every other week, insane bloating, water retention and of course depression, frustration and all that crap that comes along with not being able to figure out what the heck is going on with your body.

I finally got answers after going to the doctor.

Ovarian Cyst were the cause to all this madness.

I was happy to finally have answers but bummed when the doctor told me the solution…

BIRTH CONTROL.

I immediately said, “no!” I just got off of birth control after 14 years on it.

With all the side effects it comes with, I wasn’t willing to get back on it. Plus, I’d like to starting try for a baby soon. So no point of getting back on it. I decided to start educating myself on how to cure this issue naturally. Now, that I am back to normal and these tips truly helped me, I want to share them with anyone struggling with the same BS!

Let’s start with what you should drop.

Processed Sugar– throws off hormones even more by increasing estrogen. So cut back or cut out completely if possible. This doesn’t include natural sugar like fruit.

Processed Foods– we all know how awful processed food is so try shopping for whole foods or organic foods.

Stress– figure out how to cut back on stress. Relax and Reset.  Stress doesn’t benefit any of us at all.

These are 3 simple things to start cutting back on to help balance out your hormones. Now let’s dive into foods, herbs and oils that can naturally balance your hormones.

Foods and herbs to naturally balance hormones…

  • Wild caught fish
  • Beans
  • Lentils
  • Grass-fed meat
  • Seeds
  • Almond butter
  • Coconut oil
  • Avocados
  • Turmeric
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Ginger

Oils to naturally balance hormones…

  • Clary sage
  • Thyme
  • Sandalwood
  • Frankincense
  • Rose hip
  • Cypress
  • Lavender
  • Castor
  • Coconut

When it comes to oils, I like to make my own mixtures and rub it on my lower abdomen. One time in the morning, one time at night. I usually use coconut oil and a little bit of castor oil then I drop in about 10 drops of each oil and use it through the week. I only use the best quality of oils, which is young living. I tried to do the cheap stuff and it was a waste of money. You can check out the oils here.

If you suffer from cramps, I recommend panaway and dragon time. Those have saved me when I was in pain, plenty of times! If you have any questions on this blog, please let me know.
